Many algae derivatives—like extracts and algae broth—are featured in countless products. You’ll find algae extracts and powders in items that support soil, crop, and turf health, as well as in human health, beauty, supplements, and animal food or feed. The majority of these products use algae in a non-living form, such as broths or powders. EnLife Algae, by contrast is a live cell algae culture.

Why live cell algae as opposed to broth or powders? Simply put, they work better than derivatives. When applied to crops the live cells continue to produce phytohormones over time, so in addition to stimulating plant growth, they promote soil microbial growth and activity, increasing fertility. This, in turn, raises the level of plant micronutrients with known health benefits.
